Meh. I've been in a mood for quite awhile. It comes and it goes, but right now it's currently making itself very comfortable. So it robs me of what little way I had with words prior to this, and I sit here, silent and envious of those who spin the most fantastic tales from their misery or even just plain blah-ness.

Not that I'm miserable. I can't even work myself up to that level of feeling. It's not numb, as I always associate that with the possibility that you started out feeling something and then it went to such extremes that now you're left with nothing.

I'm just blah. How fantastic is that?

In other news that I try not to think of which might explain part of the funk, Cass is attempting to set a date for her wedding again. Yes. Again. This go round it's October 23, 2pm at Whitepoint Gardens [I think], and that's a Tuesday from what she's said. I haven't looked ahead, really. It's their five year anniversary. How absolutely swell. She has me call so she can ask me to be either her bridesmaid or her maid of honor, not that it matters all that much as there's only me anyway.

You'd think, given all the practice I have, that I would know by now how to properly fake enthusiasm that I simply don't have. You'd think wrong, my pretty. So very wrong.

I'm not up to dress hunting. I'm not up to hurt feelings on any side.

Of course, this could all [wedding bitching aside] be a product of it being day three-bleeding-into-four of the week and I didn't sleep much yesterday.

Now to hope yesterday's stuff ships fast. New clothes. Yay.
