(no subject)

And so another one bites the dust. The store reopens overnight starting in September, and as a result, no more boss. Well, obviously we'll have a manager, it's just that they'll have to rotate until they find someone foolhardy enough to say "bring it on, bitches" to the thought of armed robbery. Fun times. We don't go through night managers the way we do the third overnight person, but once they have two night managers, it becomes a race to see how long til they both quit. :P

If I were so motivated, I would hunt down various sites and look for information on upcoming shows. As it stands, I'll be taping DH, Ugly Betty, Heroes, Supernatural, and um... Scrubs whenever it appears. Oh, and House. I'm sure I'm missing stuff, but this is why the networks are supposed to be courting me, damn it. As it is, the only thing that's sticking out is Gossip Girl and that's simply because I joined a comm as soon as it was announced, and they've got someone who is great with the updates. Doesn't mean I like everything I see or read, and I laugh to myself at the situation they've created. Namely, to the casual observer [moi!], it appears that while it might be touted as Serena and Blair, it's in that order. Which would give book-Blair the world's biggest bitchfit. It's not exactly endearing the show to me either, although I like the actress. Why? Because book-Serena makes me want to punch someone. Until they pass out. And then maybe kick 'em a little. That's right, fictional characters drive me insane. Which you already knew, given the Charmed years. :P Also, I hate it when they change something for no good reason. It's one thing if it's feasible in one medium but not so much when it makes the jump to another, but just because someone felt like it. Meh.
