Finished the Buffy Omnibus volume one. Score! The downside? I'd forgotten that Buffy art could be so craptacular. Not so much an issue in the first volume, but peeking at the second, I could cry. Also, this makes about the third or fourth time I've managed to get the Dust Waltz in some form. Dawn & Hoopy, though. Aww. Also, Buffy covers should not have been allowed to be really good if the art contained within? Not so much. But pretty, pretty covers do much to make me happy. Almost as happy as snorting when the preface for volume two basically said, "Yeah, a lot of you thought this particular artist sucked... so you'll probably want to burn this volume. Put it down and walk away. Slowly."

I have much to do today and am lacking in the desire to do any of it. Must be Monday.

Where the hell did winter go? I stepped outside this morning and nearly keeled over from heat stroke. I'm still frying, hours and hours later. I shouldn't need to break out the use of my air conditioning for another month, dammit!

Oh, good God. I don't know why I can't stay away. I usually avoid the various posts and things, but the moment someone says, oh, yeah, the first chapter is up, I go and peek. Anything I might've said about the last book signaling a small shift towards non-crap, or at least to middle ground? I take it all back. And I wish she could see. Just one lucid moment.
