Day 5 or "move it, football head!"

( List! )
Besides watching a Sailormoon a day (I'm finally up to Mercury having joined up), I've introduced Widget to the wonder that is Football Head. Or Hey, Arnold! I don't think he understands the true glory of Helga, but give it time. He will. He freaks out when people are mean to Arnold, or when Arnold does the wrong thing. It's adorable. But most of all, it's not Scooby Doo.
I used to love Scoobs, but I think that for a lot of people, there's a moment when you cross over and cannot look back in terms of watching most Scooby Doo episodes. The boy and I used to fight for our right to watch SD at dinner when the family ate in the TV room and not at the dinner table. I have vivid memories of this. I now understand why my parents would fight, tooth and nail, if it wasn't one of the few episodes/specials they liked. (I like the one at the Monster School for Girls. I like the Addams Family ones. There are a couple of semi-recent ones I don't hate. I thought the live action TV movie was cute.) It's like jamming your finger into an electrical socket repeatedly until your braincells die. But less interesting.
Anyway, back to Arnold. Widget and I both cheer when crazy grandma shows up. He always says, "She's crazy!" like this is something new, so I have to add, "but awesome" so that he understands that she is, and that sometimes crazy is indeed awesome.
