I don't like this year much, either.

Yesterday my orange terrorist, Tiggy, died. Technically he was the boy's cat, but after 14-16 years ( no one can agree on how old Tiggles was) you definitely get attached. Especially after Belle died. :/

He hadn't been eating the last few days (well, he'd nibble but he went from wolfing down a can and begging for another down to nibbling) and yesterday when we came home, he wasn't meowing like himself. Swear to god, he mewed and it sounded like Belle. I'll admit I got a little panicky, but I kept pushing for someone to take him to the vet but no one would listen to me.

( Which is where the guilt kicks in. )
