Jan. 19th, 2013 09:05 amBecause I'll whine if I wanna, last night I woke up for my afternoon ditzing around. Is good times, really. Went to bed after dinner for my nap before work.
The headache that had been tickling around since I'd woken up decided to break down the door and Announce Its Presence. Feel free to imagine a brain wearing shitkicking boots kicking open a door because that's what it felt like.
Still. I tried to ignore it.
I think I even fell asleep a little. I dreamt I was in pain. Fun.
I woke up and tried to go back to sleep. Tried to will away the headache.
It was sort of like a sinus headache and a migraine all rolled into one. Eventually I said to hell with sleep and called work. Only to find out that the pain in my head was so severe that I couldn't really talk much beyond "have migraine. won't go away, even with excedrin. sorry." I'm sure I sounded incredibly stupid.
I'm sure I didn't really care at the time because holy hell, the store music and the light from the phone were making things Not Happy.
Called mums to let her know I was staying home and not to wake me up in an hour.
Slept after awhile.
Eventually found a position that made the face not hurt (that'd be the sinus part) and slept really well until 2am when the boy came home and had the music cranked up to eleven. The room was vibrating.
I might've cried. Just a little.
Got up. Started my day. The headache has stayed away (or was chased away when it tried to come knocking again) so... yeah.
That was my night.
