I am vexed
Aug. 31st, 2013 07:23 pmFor the last month or so, with a week off because a summer spent moving is hell, I have attempted to get other people to unpack (or repack stuff after going through it) and have had mixed results. In 12 hours, the boy has laid seige to the LR and it looks pretty fab, if you ignore the whole "you do know those can't stay there, right?" arguement. 12 hours, if that!
But what's really bothering me is this: used to work with someone who was accused, more than once, of drinking on the job via her water bottles. Personally I didn't (and still don't) believe it, but you could convince me that she drank a little wine before work and a lot afterwards. She was really upset that someone would endanger her job with a story like that but we never figured out who started it.
I found out last night. :/ It was someone she considered a friend (and still does though I don't think they talk much) and I'm pretty sure I shouldn't say anything because it would only hurt her to know that. Also, I'm only 87% sure I correctly understood the story. But... yeah.
The combo of these things isn't helping.
Sigh.
