Monster High Chatter #5, Rochelle

In keeping with the easier dolls (to keep the momentum going. I'm inching my way towards the harder ones, I think), we're gonna go with Rochelle. It seems fitting, since she, Venus, and Robecca are the secondary trio in the line, even if nothing has been done with them in a long while. WOE. I actually liked their dynamic and wish it had been shown on screen.

Rochelle herself is one of those characters I like very much, though in reality being friends with someone who is super nitpicky about rules would drive me insane. I don't break rules, but I am very big with the loopholes.
Looks wise, I think she's gorgeous. I like the combo of those shades of pink and blue (especially when it's a little more teal), and the grey works really well. Doll wise, she's got one of the cutest molds and... clearly I could go on. But let's jump into things, shall we?

Is it time for a life update kind of thing? I think it might be.

Well, for one, we have definitely moved into Summer-lite, which is what Spring is around here. It's been surprisingly light on the rain so far, so that's not exactly boding well for Summer-Summer. Then again, maybe I should just roll with it.
I still think it's weird as hell that everywhere else in the complex, the dirt is pretty much at baked consistency but near the water meters, everything is underwater. I... don't get it. I mean, if all the places that hold onto water longer than everywhere else were still preciously guarding the water we got from our small rainstorm last week, I'd understand. But the section at the end of our walkway? Dry. The swamp in front of the trash corral (which is pretty close to the water meters, btw. Same general area.)? Dry as a bone.
It's weird, that's all I'm saying.

Did I mention my brother got kittens last weekend? Not the one that just flew by, but the previous one. He did. Two. Mums and I called them Thor and Loki. Turns out Thor was a girl and also my brother's on again/off again girlfriend's kitten. Naturally this was the kitten who seemed to like me. :P Farewell, little grey and white love. But before Thor went on to Walterboro, another of their siblings appeared. Today I get to go and meet him and see Loki again. I might be a little excited.

Let's see. Yesterday I went through my makeup/bathroom drawer and tried to make sense of the chaos. I used the bottom parts of my birchboxes and that actually seems to be working. I learned that I have a lip crayon fixation as that's the ONLY box that's nearly full. I could probably have culled that down quite a bit, but that would involve not having ALL the crayons.
I did find a couple of things I'd duplicated, so I set those aside for May giftings to people. I tossed a few things that are old or looked funky or sucked so horribly that I'm not sure why I still had them. Truthfully, the only thing that wasn't old but looked funky was a WnW lipstick that had whitish beads or something on it? It was a color that looked like ass on me anyway, so I'm not too sad to chuck it.
Most surprising to me was the fact that I don't have nearly as many mascaras as I feared that I did. I'd have even less if I actually went through and chucked the green or teal one that's pretty much dry but I was bored by that point and didn't feel like testing things out. Maybe next time.

Well, I should probably start getting ready for kitten visiting.
