today's entry is a time jump
Dec. 5th, 2016 03:52 pmUm, self? You've been up for three hours. It is not time to go back to sleep. It really, really isn't. You should be up and doing things, not sitting here debating the merits of going back to sleep. What happened?
I dunno. I need to at least look at the instructions for the new chairs to see how difficult it looks like they'll be (and to also see if the dented box looks like it's an issue or just a box issue), check out the sweater (so naturally it's damn near 70), and then check my AG order. Not a lot to do, though the chairs might prove a bit daunting, but still, stuffs to do, dammit.

Woke up a bit and looked at the instruction sheet. Wow. I hate it when companies don't even bother to include the written instructions and rely solely on illustrations. Both, guys. Both work. I'm trying to decide if I should try and assemble them on my own or wait til later... maybe I'll poke the Christmas boxes and see if I want to decorate and then work on the chairs?
In a surprise twist, apparently I finally accumulated enough points with AG to earn a reward certificate this month. Naturally, it expires at the end of the month and unless they throw a surprise lower free shipping threshhold my way, it'll be eaten in shipping... still. $10 off is $10 off. I'm debating going for the new PWP which ships free. I think it's annoying they sell it alone for double what it actually costs if you spend $50, but it's not anything new for AG. I'm also debating Julie's holiday outfit or Melody's play outfit, both of which are on sale today for the daily deals. Tomorrow's daily deal, btw, is supposed to be 20% off select furniture. But the free shipping on orders over $100 ends tonight so... that doesn't affect me but might concern others.
Decisions.
Fandom wise, my little chaos demon's heart is all atwitter because the new doll leaks and flouncing are making things very, very melodramatic. Sometimes I feel bad when things go insane and other times I'm off to the side chanting, "yesyesyesyesssssssssssssss!"

Hours later, the temperature has dropped considerably and it's foggy, rainy, and dreary. I love it. :D

Even later still. Assembled one chair. Look, companies. If you're gonna gimme an allen wrench, don't make it fucking impossible to use it. Also, if I'm gonna need a screwdriver, you should probably say that, too. I really, really do not want to assemble the second chair because the first one started out okay and then quickly turned into a pit of nope and profanity. The finished product looks nice and all, but my hands still hurt thinking about it. Also, I learned that though shall not google search tension ring because you will come up with really gross results. Don't do it. Just... don't.
Tried on the sweater. I like the color, not so sure how it looks on me but I tend to feel that way about most things and hey, it's probably a step up from the grey one. I hope that when it's washed, it gets softer.
My Spacepop Luna came today and while I haven't de-boxed her yet (she showed up right after I called it quits on the chair and went up to nap), she is gorgeous. ♥
ETA: Opened my AG box and the weird outfits do come with shoes and Grace's hair kit did come with the metal headband!
