In news that will surprise absolutely no one, Walmart sucks when it comes to getting them to do anything about fixing a problem. My order, the one meant to be here Thursday (which is the only reason I ordered, btw) still hadn't shipped or moved beyond "so you made an order, thanks, we'll take your money now" so I fired up the chat and spoke to someone else. Who immediately gave me the same answer as Rep 2 but then went a step further and cancelled the order (so I dunno what Rep 2 was on about) and an email immediately triggered.

But for the trouble, all they could do was offer 10% off. Which I'd have been okay with on Friday, even as Amazon was doing far better, but not after making me wait even longer. Got off the chat and waited for my call back and when we were approaching an hour, Cass asked to be tagged in because she was in a mood, so I let her. The best she got was 20% but it was still better than 10, so I went with it. Now to see if the same problems crop up with this order.

*yawns* I had a real point when I started it but what was it? Hrmm. Oh, yeah. The AG rewards thing has changed so if you get emails for birthday reminders (your own or for people you buy for), make sure to actually watch the little video they send because now you get 10 points. It's not a lot but it is something and before you got nada.

Why is it that when I'm trying to find something in particular (in this case, indoor Halloween lighting ideas) I come across nothing I want (inspire me, dammit) but if I happened to be looking for anything else Halloween-y, I'd come across the lighting? WHY.

Also, the cat has taken to coming downstairs. Might need to get her a new collar just in case.

I should not have to babysit CS reps and triple check to make sure they did what they said they would do.

My second Walmart order has not moved. I'm really wondering if they don't have them in stock because usually my Walmart orders move pretty quickly but this is the second time they seem to just not be noticed. Oh, they'll take my money but they won't send the product. I emailed to see if they could give it a nudge or do something because dude, order #2 really shouldn't be fucked up.

Then I checked to see if my Amazon charge fell off since it was supposed to be free. Nope, instead it posted to my account so I had to go and chat with Amazon about fulfilling their promises. Oi.

Went to Marshalls to see if they had this really cute black cat in a witch's hat statue but not a bit of Halloween did I find. Raced through Kohls to see if they had anything but all I found were maybe half the fall candles I know are out. A few smelled really good but Mom was in the Food Lion and I didn't want any of them enough to run down the shopping center, grab her card, and run back. It was too hot for that nonsense.

And the only thing my rep is saying is, I'm sorry, we will make sure this does not happen again.


BUT IT DID. IT JUST DID. This is the "sorry we fucked up, have the world's second smallest discount to say sorry" order. AND YOU STILL FUCKED IT UP.


Oh, oh now I can place the order again and pick it up in store. I DON'T FUCKING WANT TO PICK IT UP IN STORE. The CS hours there don't work for me. Especially mid-week.
