Apr. 23rd, 2019 05:01 amBraved the mall to exchange my disappointing Black Cherry Merlot items. The saleslady was super hyper to the point that secondhand embarrassment kicks in just a little. But she was helpful and nice and if it helps her do her job without losing her mind, more power to her. I sniffed the BCM spray and it's a little bit better than the body wash/cream, but still not right and I wasn't there to spend money. I did fall in love with the Strawberry Pound Cake candle as they had that going at the front of the store and OMG. SO. GOOD. But no real sales going on so I didn't cave and actually buy anything. Probably didn't hurt that they didn't have that candle in stock that I found.
Tried out their stupidly hyped Gingham scent. It's okay but it smells a bit weird on me. Sniffed the other black scent from their Black and White line and BBW does honey weird in bodycare. It ultimately smells flat or stale or something, so that was a no. I did actually like the Blueberry one, so I grabbed that for me, and Hello Beautiful for Mom. Naturally she tried to steal my Blueberry stuff. So I think I'll wind up giving her both.
I can't believe all those reviews on the site have people going into fits of joy over BCM. Fuck it, I reviewed it and gave it a shitty rating. We'll see if they actually post it or not.
Oh, I finally got around to wearing my Marie dress and I got a compliment on it as I walked through Target. It's pretty cute and I could've been wearing it during the slightly cooler days because it is a little bit heavier than I was expecting. Whoops. The pockets came in handy when we stopped at the Teeter to see if they had the Cinnamon French Toast Russell Stover bunnies. Which they did. Those are super yummy, btw.
Mums and I re-watched Infinity War and I was right when I said I didn't think it would hurt as much without knowing I had a year to wait for Endgame. Here's hoping it's not too crowded when we go and see it. I just peeked at the show times we're most likely to go to and who knew the noon one would be more than halfway sold out on a Monday?
Also, ugh. Spring is about to turn into Summer-Lite as today's high is in the 80's and that's supposed to last into next week. ;_;
