in which I wait for the mail
Jul. 20th, 2020 08:04 amBefore my birthday when everyone (so like, two people) ask what I want for said day I can think of nothing. I think to myself that perhaps I will be able to save a little money or at least pay down a bill or something, y'know?
Yeah. I forgot that the other end of July onward is basically a free for all when it comes to stuff showing up that I want. It doesn't help that grocery prices are absolutely fucking insane so basically the universe is now laughing at me.
Sigh.
As my last Potter related buy for the foreseeable future (get it together, JK!) I snagged the Luna doll for preorder from Amazon. She was my big birthday want but since she wasn't in stock, even in preorder form, until now (that I saw), it didn't happen. She's so cute, I'm so excited. :D
Mail call later this week should bring me my mini AG order that has Joss's new outfit (the one with the rainbow shoes) and the purple creative whatever outfit that will be going right to my Claudia costume section. At this point I'm wondering if I should just cave and have AG versions of the BSC. Saige pretty much is my Mal stand-in whenever. Who knows.
Today's mail should bring me my Bamboozle bear (eeeeeeeeeeeee) and other AG order that I made off the board. It's a Wednesday Addams dress and the 90's GOT Hanukkah Outfit. Well, the sweater and skirt portion. It was the only outfit that physically pained me to give back to Cass when she finally claimed Destiny and her AG clothing stuff back. I've loved that outfit since it came out and any time I've ever tried to buy it, something else came up.
Now to figure out why I feel like someone hit me in the face with a pan. Ugh.
