Jan. 24th, 2022 03:01 pmCan't tell if I should be annoyed by this or if I'm just being cranky. Ordered from a nail polish collab thing last Tuesday and the shipping price was borked. Like clearly so, but since the ONE polish I wanted from this thing was likely to sell out (literally the last time I went to grab a polish from this maker from another collab, it was sold out within five minutes and I think that's being generous), I went ahead and put in the order, figuring it was a glitch.
Sure enough, five minutes in there's a post in the FB group about there being a shipping issue and they'll be fixing it and sending emails. I'm literally the first person to like that post and later in the thread she tells someone yes. Give me a few. I will refund today. So I figure that's that and head off to bed because I stayed up to put that order in. The next morning the post has its comments turned off so I figure she's emailed/refunded everyone.
Mmm, nope. Still, it's within 24 hours and whatever. I eventually decide well, maybe we're supposed to email since just about everyone in that post mentioned emailing, so over the weekend I send an email. This afternoon I get a "I'll look at it on the 31st" response. Which I suppose makes sense as it's one of those things where you can add things to your order over the course of the preorder but also maybe communicate that on the FB page before shutting off comments on that post and ignoring questions elsewhere?
Oi. What's worse is realizing that this collab is run by someone I was avoiding because they're a known dick.
