Jun. 14th, 2022 03:53 am*flicks off the USPS* I had two orders coming Saturday. Saturday morning I checked my Informed Delivery and it had one out for delivery and the other one hadn't even made it to SC at that point. Which isn't the first time a package from that maker has run a little late so I didn't stress about it. Sunday I checked and it was still in limbo but again, not unusual. Yesterday I checked a couple of times in the morning and it had arrived in the area but wasn't out for delivery, which again- is normal.
Imagine my surprise when I checked a couple of hours later, if that, and it's suddenly got an alert on it that says it's on its way back to the maker because "addressee unknown." Dude, I'd say that if you can track it enough to tell me that, you know damn well where it's supposed to go. So I panic because I don't fucking want to pay for it to be shipped again and also I am not 100% sure it's not been fucked up in transit. I attempt to flag it in the system a couple of ways and the most obvious keeps sending me an error message but eventually I think I flagged it as it's no longer saying it's necessarily going back to VA but still.
You clearly made NO effort in trying to sort this out as it was just a couple of hours between 'tis in the area!' and 'well, fuck you because back it's going!' I'm pissed.
I am also sleepy. Blergh. Dinner tried to kill me so I had to seek an alternate option and now I'm hungry again.
On the plus side, surprise mail coming this week (eeeeeeeee!) and I managed to clean a bit. I do have to call Hallmark tomorrow and see if they're still planning to hold things for me on release day or if they gave up hope. In my defense, I tried multiple times to use the site to see what I had on my list and the site kept going down! I can't whittle things down if I can't see what past!me put on the list.
