Note to future me: Halloween edition
Oct. 7th, 2024 01:04 amSelf, you always ask for Halloween ideas from past!you, so here's something to keep in mind. Buy some Mr. Clean scrubby sponges and use them for your railing cleaning. It is SO much faster/easier/less messy than your other options. Just remember to wear gloves on both hands, k?
Near future!me should look into wreath hangers for the inside doors and maybe actually buy some remote control tea lights instead of buying a zillion non-remote control options. Oof. Oh, and the removable glue dots do NOT work for the wall bats. They might work for the ghosts since they're paper and not plastic.
Also, I know we're not minimalists by any stretch of the imagination, but maybe cut down on the decorations. (she says as she makes plans to go Halloween shopping) Not getting rid of them, just... they don't all have to go out. I cut way back and while there are a few more I need to grab out of the shed (the big funkin JOL for one), I think I'm actually done for now.
