can't stop what's coming

Two parts, one dream. Weirdly it managed to flow without being overly weird at the time. The first part starts out at a party. By party I mean a gathering of people I should know, but don't. We're playing some game that's like a mix of uno and... god knows what. The object is to get rid of all your cards first. You win. Yay you. But the cards are given out according to how many times you've had sex/experience/whaaaatever. I have four cards. :p So I throw one card down on my turn and someone reverses it, but that means that the discard pile is now flipped so that the last card is first and I have to play something on that or draw until I can. Unappealing. I'm also being kind of mocked for having just four cards.

As the mocking begins anew, we switch to Gilmore territory. It seems for, whatever reason,Stars Hollow is hellbent on a Luke/Lorelai spawn. Only because of Taylor the two haven't been able to do much of anything lately. So Lorelai starts running after Taylor and is threatening to beat him up. Luke is chasing her and that part is really fun. I don't really remember anything after that, but I do know I didn't want to wake up and the dream didn't leave except the end.


So. The banks are closed tomorrow. Which shows how well I keep up with the world at large, eh? Making matters worse is the fact that I am not in possession of my check. You'd think frickin' Walgreens would realize that if the banks are closed tomorrow, they can't very well pay us then and expect anyone to spend part of their check at work. Fools!

Anyway. To distract me from the fact that I am painfully broke right now, I will show you the newest additions to my room. You may thank/blame yellowgrrl. Though the crappy pictures are all my own doing, the spark for the "oooooh, shiny cuteness!" came from her general direction, yes. This is why I should not be allowed to shop online. I buy stuff I don't need but find really, really cute. Dangerous, dudes.

Naturally I want about three more. On the other hand, three out of however many exist? Good deal.
