Also known as lookit what woke me up this afternoon? More than half an hour after my alarm was supposed to go off [and probably did, but since someone had "borrowed" my phone, it was useless to me] I hear the dog barking her head off. Thing is, I was still very much asleep. So five minutes later I stumble down the stairs, hope my skirt isn't tucked into my underwear and fly out the door to flag the mailman down, because ohmylord, he's carrying a box that could be for meeeee!


And it was. And here she is. Nero, who my mother is very much in love with. Moreso than Alice. o_O I didn't think that possible, but hey. My nephew is also enamored of Miss Murder Nero, considering she took part in the "partners? partners! partners!" thing he picked up from Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends. Nero's just that cool.


Please excuse the weird lighting. It was still dark and overcast until after I was done photographing her. Like, five minutes later the sun came out. o_O


So she looks a bit like a killer of the cold blooded variety, but I assure you that's just the song and the lighting. Honest.


Oh, and the blanket on the back of the chair. It probably doesn't help matters much either.

Why'd you let me wait so long to get a Nero, guys? Why? She's so prettiful. It's odd, I'd been sort of worried [hence the delay] that she'd be meh but she's spellbinding. *eyes Oren* You do know there will be lots of pictures of those two coming next week when I've got nothing better to do, right? Oren. Nero. *dies*

Yay! I'm glad she got there so quick.

I was sorry I couldn't keep her, but at least I know she's in the best of company. Oren. Nero. Oren. Nero. Can't wait for pix!
