I've got a headache, yes I do
Jun. 12th, 2006 03:42 pmI finally got around to watching Underworld and for all the bitching people did, it's not awful. It's probably a prettier movie than it is wholly entertaining, but part of that might have been me waiting for it to suck beyond all measure. That'll teach me to listen to the masses. You'd think I'd have learned by now, but no. I never do manage to learn that particular lesson.
When it was over, I immediately wanted to see the sequel. Which, you know, ain't happening just yet. Still, very pretty movie if you like your movies devoid of color for the most part, rain ever present, and not sure which side to root for. I might like it just for that little switch. Start you off on side A, let you root for them, want certain people to not die, and then when you're as invested as you'll ever be, point out that they're the bad guys. I love that.
Quick, someone get a TV series that does that. Gives you half a season to think one side is good and then they switch it all around. *purrs*
My printer is being a total whore. Thought I'd share.
I think I'm tired again. I'm ever so thrilling, I know. I could say I have the start of what looks to be a massive headache, but really, by now I think you expect that of me.
Yesterday Mumsy bought new shoes. Thing is, apparently they were either mislabeled or maybe sizes have changed, but they don't fit her. I found this out as I idly slipped one on my foot this morning and it fit for the most part. Fiddle with the strap and presto! So I say something about the shoe, since anything that fits my foot shouldn't fit anyone else I know, except maybe one person. My feet are at least a size and a half bigger than Mumsy's and have been for a couple of years. I'm not thinking her feet grew, y'know? So I inherited them since she can't wear that pair. She's not sure about the red pair. New shoes, freebies no less, are always nice.
Stuff that should get here sometime this month:
- Dad's father's day gift
- my pants [that sounds dirty. Go on, giggle.]
- my new shirts + my happy bunny crazy tramp socks [too easy?]
- dolly wigs
in broken english she says, i lost everything
