I was bored and for some reason I was also craving some Nina time after the overly fussiness of the wedding couple. So she changed outfits finally and declared her name to be September. I said no, I think not. There are plenty of other months that are actually names and while cute, September? Not so much. So she thought and pouted and I finished another chapter or three in Godless [did you know the local water tower is God? Now you do.] annnnd then she said, "Fine. August it is," as if we'd been having a conversation.

So now we present tales from the B-List, or those dolls who rarely get much screentime:




Whatcha up to, August?


August: Hmmmm.... wait, what? Ack! Shhhh, be quiet, would you? I don't want...
Eh?
August: Shhhhh! If you have to be so nosy, c'mere and see.


Calli: *reads boring technical manual junk*


August: See?
Uh... no?
August: *sigh*


Calli: She's still there, huh?
Wait, you knew?
Calli: Well, yeah. She's been standing there for ages. Plus, you two weren't exactly all that quiet, y'know?
You don't mind she's been spying on you for hours?
Calli: God, no. She's cute!

Yeah, fab as those stands are, you kinda need a waist for them to be at all useful. As it is, they need clothing to stuff around them so they'll actually hold the dolls instead of just sort of prop them up. Behold the tiny!


I'd momentarily forgotten the cuteness that is Nina. Why did you let my brain do something so foolish?

The mini army marches on. Thus far it has two holes, the Lans. I somehow missed them. Meep.

And September is quite loverly, I just don't think it's a fantastic name for a doll. Or my doll. Or something. Plus, once it's Sept I have lots of gifts to buy and then it'll be October and Halloween. :D
