shut your eyes
Aug. 17th, 2006 10:37 amThis is my head slamming onto the desk.
Repeatedly.
If I could go back in time and stop myself from doing two stupid things, I would avoid a certain jerk [and make sure everyone else I know did as well] annnnnnd I would also make sure that my two best friends were not sisters. *headdesk #922*
For you see Cass is most displeased about being either the last or second to last to know about any developments in the plotting of various wedding/bridesmaid like things in regards to Ari's wedding. To be honest, I don't blame her. I'm getting sick of it too. [If she's second to last to know, I'm last to know. See how that works?] But I also know that I should mention it to her. So after getting tired of the bitching, I told Cass for the fiftieth time to let her sister know her feelings are hurt, blah blah blah. Unfortunately, Arianne doesn't answer her phone, hasn't answered email at home in ages, and will not respond to text messages. And that's just when I try to get ahold of her. Which is a royal pain since she's said the best way to get her attention is to text message her. Anyyyyway, Cass emailed her at work. Easy since they both work at the same place. She was told, rather icily I'll admit, that if she had something like that to say, she should email her at home.
And now I can't figure out if Cass did forward the email or not. But since she was going all drama queen "if she doesn't reply by Thursday, I'm backing out!" despite her grandmother warning her that that was a pretty stupid idea at this second, I texted zee ari in what I thought was a fairly nice request that she just respond to Cass so I could stop hearing about it. Only it was worded better and less selfishly. I never heard back from her. I then get a text from Cass asking what I'd sent ari. So I forward it to her, and she replies with how it must have ticked ari off. Only... from what I gather, she got a blank text from ari and that's what she's basing her theory that Ari is madder than hell on. And I don't get it. I can see ari being upset, but not mightily pissed by my message, and a blank? How is that proof?
Of course, I started out feeling Cassandra's pain, but jesus christ, if it were any more obvious that she's freakin' jealous of Ari's wedding not necessarily being seen as the end of the world, I'd go full on blind. I'm also pretty ticked that I'm shoved in the middle and getting the short end of the stick as well. And I can't even get ahold of her!
...*headdesk*
Sisters are complicated. Friends are complicated. People annoy me very, very often. I'm not a people person.
I'm one book closer to my complete collection of Sweet Valley University books. Shut it. I think I'm down to... *pulls up the list* one normal numbered, three really bad "secret love diaries" which may actually be the worst SV books ever written and yes, this includes the entirety of the SVU/SVSY/SVJHs, two thrillers, and two Elizabeths. Though, technically one of those should show up sometime this week. Woo! That'll bring us to seven missing books. Yay.
Today's Ryan's birthday and I'm somehow sure I won't be able to get ahold of him. Which is a bit of a bummer, man.
Laundry and shower. Lucky, lucky me
