impyA moment of silence before I descend into snickers of the violent persuasion.
I'm reading Primavera [Francesca Lia Block] that I snagged from the Borders Outlet for three bucks, and I'm disappointed. Perhaps it's the songs that have no tune that threaten to drown the whole book? Yes, that's a big chunk of it. It's hard to ignore something that sprawls for three or four pages at a time and taunts you with no rythem that's easily found, so I'm unable to hear this jumbled mass of words in my head. Which is so at odds with most FLB books where the whole book is something that just kind of sing-songs right in my head. But no. This one is kicking my ass. It's worse than Ecstasia in that regard. I think I found an uneasy balance with that one, but this one? Nope. I turned down reading another few chapters on my break in favor of reading the TV Guide. That's just wrong.
In other book type news, I dunno if I ever gushed over the wonder that was Twilight, but if I didn't, I should have. So good that I had to force myself to not inhale it. I had my doubts, but I was a fool to have had them. Fool!
Hell. I've got a story, I'll tell it tomorrow. I lack the initial insanity that is required to retell the tale of Cassandra's birthday dinner disaster. I have come to the conclusion that she is not allowed to have her dinner at any restaraunt as something always goes wrong.
Now, I have to ask, is there enough brain bleach in the world to rid my brain of the horror that is finding my brother's myspace page? Cuz I'm thinking no.
