impyWell hell, LJ, what crawled up your comment arse and died? You want me to refresh everything a billion times, well I'm not gonna.
I should be asleep by now, but no. I actually called the number they give for just about everything having to do with questions about the medical insurance, and naturally it's not really automated. It rings for hours and then an automated thing picks up, spills the fax number [uh, thanks?] and then tells me to wait sixteen centuries and maybe someone will get to me. Maybe not. It's seriously the least optimistic "please hold" message I have ever heard. It basically tells you to just hang up and dial again, some other day.
Finally got ahold of Ari and got a sort of number on the party. Enough that I felt confident [and thus doomed us all] enough to order the Cinderella-ish plates and napkins. Because they're pretty, okay? And I'm sorry, but I think there should be something sort of festive about the whole thing. So I'm gonna fight for one of the prettier cakes and I'm shelling out the cash for the plates and napkins. I figure that this way we can cheap out on the cups/glasses, utensils, and tablecloth, at the very least. Remind me to fight for the tableclothes, kay? Picnic table of wood or plastic [of which we have both] requires a tablecloth. It just does. Reminder to self: 20 people.
