Bah

In a continuing theme, this morning was not so hot either. Which is made even worse by me finally feeling better about things. I went to sleep, cat curled up either on me or next to me, purring me to sleep. I woke up and actually felt mostly rested for once. I made it downstairs and was feeling vaguely optimistic about things. Then I tried to switch the dogs [putting Lady in with Mom and sneaking Angel out] and that didn't work. At all. So I put Lady in her yard and hauled Angel out for an actual walk. Which was fantastic until the bag I'd picked up for her pick-up detail turned out to have a hole in the bottom so I had to haul dog poop around in my right hand while trying to keep Angel from launching herself after squirrels and other fun things. Then there was a bit of a wardrobe issue which we shall not detail, only to say that seeing a neighbor walk leisurely to their car and then noticing Lady had jumped the fence made me burst into tears.

Luckily evil little dog returned home and I resisted the urge to shatter everything breakable in the kitchen.

Now to wait not-so-patiently for the mail man.
