impyI hate having glass in my foot. It won't come out and I don't have time to drink until I'm numb enough not to care then bribe someone else to cause me pain, nor do I know if I even possess such a tolerance in either pain/booze. In other news, those Just Bitten Revlon lipglosses I've been eying since the promos started flooding the stores finally went on clearance. So I bought one of each. :D I'm sad they're doing away with them, but happy that I didn't have to spend $13-something on a lipgloss. Instead I spent that much [after tax it was a little under] on four. Oh, priorities.
Tonight I bring a book to work. Possibly two. They're scrubbing the wax off, then laying down another three layers. The smell, oh... the smell.
It's weird to think that once I finish this week, I only have one more week until my vacation. Of course, I have no plans at all for said vacation, but I suspect I'll be seeing Wall-E if only because my inner-child screams "Baby Johnny-5!" [And if you don't get that reference, we may have words...] I love that my mother can remember the first five episodes of She-ra in their entirety, but cannot remember Short Circuit, even though I watched that movie so many times I think she threatened to kill me. Until I pointed out that at least it wasn't Super Girl, which was my other movie of choice. It's sad that I remember going to the video store, being told I could pick out one movie, and it was almost always Super Girl. Older, wiser, and having to watch the same frickin' Scooby Doo movies over and over and over, I realize I was lucky neither of my parents threw the VCR out the window [and me along with it] after the fifth go round.
