There are reasons I do not discuss politics at work. Mainly because I subscribe to the theory that one should avoid politics, religion, and most discussions of money. Not with everyone, but with people you know you cannot speak reasonably to.

I missed all the festivities concerning Obama's win because I was at work when it was announced. Two women came in around 11:30 and bitched up a storm. They were expecting riots. I don't think I could keep the grin off my face, nor did I particularly try.

Kathleen came in and wasn't thrilled with McCain's loss, but she actually supported Palin, so my heart, she does not bleed.

Wow. I have never voted for a winner before. Is this how it feels? Giddy? Elated? Hopeful? And a little afraid, too? Wow.

If you'll excuse me, the NaNo fairy is telling me I fucked off yesterday and cannot do the same today.

NaNo fairy has been appeased. I've got it set up for tomorrow to be easier than today. Of course, that's only because I'm too tired to type any more. Trust me, I tried. My spell check exploded.

Seriously, let's get married(since it's not like I'll be able to get gay married any time soon!). I too come from the school of "one should avoid politics, religion, and most discussions of money". Seriously, I was on break on Monday and this girl was like, "WHO ARE YOU VOTING FOR?!" in front of like four other employees and I was like, "NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS!". Not to mentioned she announced that she was NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE. That right there is reason for me to punch you in the face. DO NOT fucking ever admit to me that you are not registered to vote. It's instant HATE.
