impy...I miscalculated so this year Christmas is going to be special and by special, of course I mean a complete pain in my ass. Why don't I have a credit card I could fuck up for exactly such purposes? I mean, really, what are the holidays if not an excuse to rack up horrible bills you regret the moment the clock strikes twelve January 2?
Exactly. If you don't live in this house, your gift will be much more likely to visit by, say, I dunno, Epiphany or something. Yes.
Of course, this wouldn't be happening if AT&T didn't SUCK. Last month I made damn sure the bill was paid before service was interrupted. Yes, yes I did. And Mumsy paid off everything on it, so the balance was a nice, satisfying zero. It was glorious, really.
Yeah. More than a day early and pretty much the day the bill showed up [late] they cut the service.
Um, no. That is not cool. So, had to wait til this morning to call and find out what the blue hell. And naturally Mumsy gets someone she clashes with. *headdesk* So does she point out that the bill was late? or that they cut it early? Or that it shouldn't have been cut in the first place because of there being no previous balance?
No. Well, she tried on the last one. Our Mrs. Washington claimed that the previous payment had not gone through. To which Mumsy did not point out the obvious: BULLSHIT. If you're two months behind, AT&T will cut your phone line! It's why we didn't have a phone line all weekend! So had we not paid it all off last time? Yeah, that would have meant they would have cut it then.
Need new phone service. AT&T can kiss my ass and take their monopoly back to hell. Isn't it time they got broken back into pieces so we'd have a few years of relative peace while they tried to take everything over again? Seriously, man.
Oh, the point was that I had to pay to restore the service, and that took my initial present money. If I didn't need the phone to pay some of my bills, I think I would have written it off until someone else could pay. As it is, I might hit my Dad up for part of it back Friday if I think there's a chance of it working.
ohmysweetbabyboywholived. I... missed all kinds of drama on the Hangout. So the dream actually meant something and not just that I'm an addict!
And I can cross Cass off my mismas list as I just ordered her present. Yay!
And double yay, I won a book from Good Reads. :D
