impyOi. Tell the Duff to stay away from my Gossip Girl, would you? I mean, really. One of these things is not like the other one...
I've got a massive headache and of course the Widge is cracked out on being 8 and it being summer. Of course. I'm eying stuff for my birthday. Shiny things? You want shiny things. I'm thinking it's going to be a very AG birthday, but I could change my mind before it's time to order.
First and foremost: I want to support the Historical collection. It's what I love most and it's what keeps getting slashed, presumably due to poor sales.
Ineed want to get something for Kirsten. The problem with this is that it's summer and I like to dress my dolls/toys accordingly. Not always, but it feels cruel to buy something so completely guaranteed to kill her, heat wise. Go look Kirsten up on AmericanGirl.com and you'll see my other dilema. Namely, the poor girl's collection is tiny. TINY. I have the birthday dress, otherwise this would be such a no brainer. I'm thinking the summer dress for obvious reasons, though I do worry about it fitting properly. Some of the Mattel stuff doesn't have a problem fitting Kirsten. Some requires a will of iron. (Mattel dolls are skinnier. This shocks no one, right?)
Sonali and Ruthie would both like outfits, although Ruthie has pointed out that she would be happy to try raiding Samantha and Nellie's stuff if it would be easier to try that first. Sonali would like another outfit. Or possibly PJs. If I go for PJs, Ruthie would like hers as well since everyone else has them. Except... I cannot find Heather's. :(
Sam says unless ebay spits out something fantastic, she's cool. Nellie says that when I next have money, I should buy Rebecca's school dress set for them. She'd like them now, only she realizes she has more of her collection than anyone else does of theirs. Granted, her collection is smaller so the percentages are screwy, but it doesn't matter. She promises not to tell Sam whose it is. And Heather says she's good waiting for clearance stuff since nothing really screams her at the moment.
Hrmm. Tomorrow!self, I'm thinking Kirsten's summer dress and PJs for Sonali and Ruthie.
Last night's dream was several kinds of weird. But I shall refrain from boring you. Birthday. Next week. :D
