Dammit comic books, just when I think I can mostly quit you, you go and suck me back in. And not even with something I suspect will be good (like I thought Buffy would be good, and it was, and then it was just boring and my subscription lapsed and I didn't even NOTICE) but with something I suspect will be one of the shittier comics I've 'collected', and honey, I was there for the bad girl 90's.

Usually I ignore the CineQuest emails I get because, dude, like I've got the money to throw fandom's way just so I can say, "HUZZAH! I own a Buffy Scythe!" or something. Which isn't to say it's not cool. It is. I just don't have the money, so no Scythe like things for me. Also, I get a little creeped out by all the Supernatural stuff which is always presented in much the same way the Twilight stuff is. "Here, drool over these guys!" Um, thanks?
But every so often they'll have a subject that makes me stop and take notice. Usually it's unintentional hilarity. But today I checked my email and it screamed "CHARMED COMICS" and I thought, ohmylord, what have you done? The other day I was thinking to myself that it was a shame that once Charmed died, pretty much everything that went with it died, but it made sense since the writers that be were never all that good at following the non-Pheeble trail.
So I click. And I see this. And complete geek that is me shrieks, "HOLLY!" and then wonders why the hell her hands are glowing, and then, oh hell, how exactly will this work as a comic? That's right. It won't. But still. I have hope for pretty cover art.
And the only reason I'm telling anyone about this now instead of sleeping or sneezing my damn head off (which I'll resume any second now, I'm sure) is because I'm pretty sure at least a couple of you would also be interested.
Sneezes!

This way I get a 'free' Charmed figure. If it's Pheeble, science can dictate what happens to her.
