impyOn a dreary, dismal day, a box appears out of nowhere. Or, you know, the mailman delivered it and someone took it to my room. Whichever you prefer.
Thump!
And so it sat, waiting for someone curious enough to come along.
Cleo: Well, well, well. What do we have here?
Ghoulia: Nnyyngh.
Cleo: Yes, I can see that it's a box. But what's inside? Riches? Gold? The wardrobe daddy promised me eons ago?
Ghoulia: NNyghnneh. (I do not know, but the first two options are highly doubtful.)
Draculaura: Hey, what's this?
Cleo: We were just about to find out.
Draculaura: Oooh, open it. Open it!
Cleo: That was the plan. It's just a matter of finding something sharp enough to cut through... unless you wanted to put those fangs of yours to good use?
Draculaura: meep!
Cleo: Mmhmm. Thought so. Just as well. Wouldn't want you getting used to nibbling on things again, would we? Doesn't matter because I know someone perfect for this.
Oh, Clawdeen!
Clawdeen: You don't have to scream you know. Werewolf hearing, remember? Plus I was standing right here.
Cleo: Oh, it's you. Sorry, I meant the other one.
Ghoulia: Guuhhngh.
Cleo: Yes, yes, the one with the purple hair.
Draculaura: I'll get her!
Clawdeen: *sniff* *sniff* Something about this smells familiar.
Cleo: Ugh. What is it with you werewolves and smelling everything? It's so... so-
Clawdeen: So what's in the box?
Cleo: *facepalm*
Ghoulia: Nerrgm.
Clawdeen: Oh, a mystery. That's cool. *sniff*
GB Clawdeen: Draculaura said you wanted to see me?
Cleo: Perfect! Can you use your claws and open this? I suspect my wardrobe has finally arrived-
GB Clawdeen: Sure!

Cleo: Stand back. I'll handle this. You never know when father will booby trap something. You can't ever be too careful, you know.

Lagoona: Hey, d'ya need help picking this up?
Lagoona: Oh.
Boxed Lagoona: Found all this on my way here. Thought I'd recycle, y'know, help the planet out and all that.

Next order of business, shiny things!
I literally gasped at the Spin mag. It's true. You can laugh if you want, but I did. I ooohed and ahhhed at the other things (and some aren't pictured because I gifted them to Mums to make kitchen life easier) and marveled at how much stuff your library has,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Lagoonas! Explain to me why I can have three Cleos, Clawdeens, and Frankies without hitting clones, but Lagoona can't even get a second doll. Make it right, Mattel!
Because Lagoona is awesome. True story.
Obviously Draculaura doesn't photograph well because she's a vampire. GB seems to have fared better. She is so much prettier than I expected. Danger, danger!
I'm not opening them until possibly this afternoon or tomorrow so that I'll have something to get me through the night at work. God, I hate truck nights, so the thought of getting to debox one/both of these? Should go a long way towards keeping me from murdering someone. YAY!

Date: 2011-01-26 06:09 pm (UTC)The James Island Walmart has been stocking the second and third wave (Dawn of the Dance and the Gloom Beach dolls) quite regularly since New Years. Target's been pretty nifty at stocking the first wave and, when I last checked a couple of weeks ago, they were making room for the Beach dolls. TRU has had 'em in the past but I rarely make it that way to check.
They'll be a little more expensive @ TRU unless there's a sale or you have a coupon. Walmart and Target are usually both within a couple of bucks of one another, so those would be my first choices, simply based on price.
Warning: They're addictive. But cute!
