Shiny roundup!

So. I've been up for an hour and a half or so, and I've cleaned a cat litter box, found half the sink and begun work on the other side, made breakfast (who doesn't consider baked potatoes breakfast?), fed the animals, changed their water, thrown out some perishables that perished, and... I dunno. Stuff. Oh, paid part of my credit card bill and remembered that I must pay my cable bill the next time I go downstairs. Huzzah?
Huzzah.
Dear girlie parts: Stop with this whole going on strike business. This is unpleasant. Unpleasant indeed.
Moving along to shiny things:

You might recall that I went on a MH spree. I did, it's true. Ghoulia came out of her box first because her glasses were sitting pretty strangely on her nose and I worried about the plastic reactions and all. HUSH. That is my story and I'm sticking to it. Anyway, she's prettiful. While messing with her glasses, I realized she looked like someone, but I couldn't figure it out. So I thought and thought and threw out possibility after possibility until it came to me. In a certain light, she reminds me of Kyra Sedwick from The Closer. What is seen cannot be unseen! Well. This isn't true. Once I thought it and realized it, I saw it less and less. Still, occasionally she pings the Kyra section of my brain and it's a little odd.
I wish I was one of those people who could ID hair types, but I can't. I've tried and somehow they just scramble in my brain. Maybe I simply do not try hard enough. Whatever the case, her hair is fluffy. But not Lagoona fluffy. I sort of want to put these on my first Ghoulia and give her a Dexter DVD. I'm a little worried though. It might give her ideas. :p

Speaking of the other Ghoulias... :D I love that DT Ghoulia doesn't look like she's going to murder someone and that the phrase "cut a bitch" does not seem to be in her vocabulary, although the pjs would suggest otherwise. She sort of bridges the gap between Ghoulia 1 and 2, but poor Ghoulia 3 is still in her box somewhere. No. I have no good reason for owning that many duplicates, although Ghoulia 2 informs me that she's just waiting for me to get around to finding her a snow queen kind of outfit and then she'll be happy. Whatever, little dudette. Whatever you say.

Once upon a time I tried to show the difference between G1 & G2 in terms of hair. I failed, but this accomplishes it nicely. G1's hair is my favorite so I wasn't thrilled at the switch, though G2 has given me ideas for other things.

DT Draculaura says hey, man. She didn't get quite as many shots of herself alone because she was first up on the block and also, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about her beyond "prettiest face ever, y/y?" It's the hair. :p I love the idea, I love the artwork, I don't love the execution. Weird. But I'm thinking this is one of those things best left to redressing, because as she currently is, unless she's hanging upside down, she looks like she's easily the tallest of the bunch, and she looks incredibly bony. Way moreso than the other MH dolls, and you know they're not having fat days.

She's a giant Draculaura and this is just strange. :p GB somehow became my favorite Draculaura without me realizing it. I think it's time for a clothes swap for the various Ulla Ds, man.

So, I took a gazillion pics before I realized that if the intention was to show the various Draculauras that reside here, in their stock state, I should probably use Draculaura 2, who is still very much stock. D'oh! Anyway, loving the 'closed mouth' thing. Maybe they realized that the line of white makes it look less like she's got fangs and more like she's dribbling milk from both sides of her mouth...?
Original Draculaura on the end is missing her parasol. (Don't tell her it's an umbrella. Shhhh. She's my baby.)

Oooh. Ahhh. Oooh. AHH. I feel the need to copy the Walmart ad where the little girl swipes Daddy's smartphone and uses it as Barbie's flatscreen. Draculaura's got the DVDs and everything!

Frankie. Who knew such a simple design would be so awesome?

CLEO. I'll let you in on a little secret. She's the one I wanted most. Which is weird because, as much as I like Cleo, as a general rule she's not my favorite. Though, come to think of it, I really love DoTD Cleo. Whatever the reason, and possibly it's the lack of bangs, she's my favorite of the DT bunch. I'm still hoping that Lagoona appears in stock somewhere prior to my birthday because, well, she's Lagoona.

Ghoulia's glasses were kept by Deuce's snakes for safekeeping. Ghoulia 3 is in her box, whispering to Lagoona.
Obviously I've now been up for much longer than the time stated previously, so I should probably go do things to add to my list of chores. Whee? Oh, and cable bill paid even if it did take forever because their system was screwy. Next up, books and nostalgia and other things. Whee!
Huzzah.
