  Didn't we already... no, that was love interest. I loved the three or four seconds every few books Sam and Stacey were together. Sadly it seems the ghosties did not. I also liked Mary Anne and Logan when the ghosties weren't busy making Logan an ass so MA would break up with him or MA completely bug nuts... so she could break up with him.
   I would also like to mention Mr. & Mrs. Pike as there's no way you could have that many kids and have so few fights if you were not seriously in love. They, more so than the other BSC parents, seemed like a well oiled (in a non icky, wash my brain out with bleach why did I go off on this tangent anyway?!) machine and like they were frequently on the same page. Some might take this as a lack of characterization. I say otherwise. Oh, and Mal and Ben. Cuz I dig redheads and Aussie accents.

D21 Favourite couple not in the book (as in who you wanted to get together but didn't)
  Could you count Sam and Stacey for this as well? They kept getting together and then... not being together by the time the next book came out. Very frustrating.

Ultimately I am very disappointed that Kristy/Alan never went anywhere. ANY OTHER SERIES, man.

D22 BSC member or minor character you could see yourself being friends with
  If one ignores the fact that you are not allowed to be friends with someone outside of the BSC without risking the wrath of... whomever, I.. Hrmm. Mallory, probably. We'd geek out over books something fierce, I'd listen to her ramble about horses (I liked looking at them, reading about them, and playing with MLP, but actual horses are big.) and we'd complain about glasses and how the universe was totally out to get us, and then I'd eventually get her to see that hello, redheads have a total advantage over other people, at least if they're girls. One day, anyway.

Otherwise, probably Mary Anne. Assuming we ever found the nerve to speak to one another. Shy leading the shy. :p (Younger me would've wanted to be Dawn's friend so, so much. And I'd second this opinion so long as it was Dawn and not ghostwriters-drove-her-over-the-edge!Dawn or CD!Dawn.)

  I... have not read them all, so... no idea. I cannot truly answer such a question without having observed all the other possibilities. I do like the Alan/Claudia arc though, but again, I've read like, four of these things so...

Aww, I agree - Mal and Ben are adorable! =) There's definitely some missing-scene fic waiting to be written about how they finally "got together", since it was like the Z-story subplot of Book #32. Hmm *adds to fanfic ideas list*

babysitters100 has made me like the Pikes more, I'll admit. I was never really much for them back in the day (besides Mal - I never understood why she was so "hated" when I discovered BSC fandom).

That comm definitely pushed the Pikes closer to the spotlight. I'd probably have killed Claire and how in the world they ever got Stacey to travel in any vehicle with Margo was always a mystery to me... but redheads. Yay! (No. In my head, totally redheads in varying shades.)

I don't get the Mal hate. On other things people refuse to play into the ghosties' hands, but on Mal they willingly walk into the mousetrap and say, "Why yes, I would like some cheese in exchange for my freedom!" Mal!

This is why I jot down ideas in my notebooks, to always give them something to munch on. Considering how much I've mined that book already, it definitely couldn't hurt ~ plus, I have both a Mal and a Ben prompt on my table, I think.

Yeah, I feel like a one-woman counterwave for Thomas family love, LOL. But it's nice - I never really gave them much thought back in the day, so to have appreciated seeing them become vibrant characters in the hands of fandom.
