impyWhat seems like forever ago I fell into the pit that is a Leekeworld wig order. For once I wasn't all "is it shipped yet?" like a spaz so when they arrived over the weekend there wasn't a massive buildup of expectations. Which is good because these things are a bitch to get on. I fought with them every friggin' step of the way. It wasn't pretty. It would explain all the flyaways though, eh?
This is Evie, my Eternia, modeling the blue-green wig that is stupidly pretty in person. I tried not to fudge too much with the colors so you'd be able to tell the actual colors. She originally tried the red wig on, but her eyes are too pale to pull that shade of red off. I do like her in this wig although she's going to need a new body to be able to wear it. (Doll people, we're weird.)
Muuuuuuch better than the wig she'd been wearing previously. It's still a TON of hair though. Which I knew but there's a difference between knowing and seeing it for yourself.
Excuse the outfit as it does her no real favors for this and you'll notice she's slouching. Because T3's do that and also the hair. The haaaaaaaair.
But the color sets off her eyes....
That much hair. What's that, you can't see her beyond all the hair? Exactly.
Next we've got the red wig which is a pain to photograph. In person it's really pretty, but not exactly the color it shows up in any of the photos. It's more vibrant in pictures and in person there's an oddness to the hue. Which isn't me complaining at all, mind you. It's just hard to describe. Anyway. Top o' the wig.
Theresa, my Craziia, and I ponder how we feel about this.
On the one hand, the color does wonders for her eyes.
And works fairly well with her eyebrows...
But the look might be too sweet for someone who is a warrior type. Also, this picture not included, the color looks weird with her lips. But that might just be the nature of the lips. *muses* (This is the shot that makes me think Ainsley, my RIDa, could probably pull this look off.)
This almost captures the muted thing going on with the wig. Almost. Still. Pretty! And I would probably murder someone to have hair this color but the upkeep would be such a royal pain in the arse.
Merely a coinky-dink that both have green eyes.
The problem with two in one shots? Yeah, someone's always looking the wrong way. :P
