Aug. 2nd, 2012 08:46 amNew AG sighting:

You know her name. You know her year. Now discover more about our newest historical character as we reveal the Caroline doll and where her story takes place — Sackets Harbor, New York, on the shores of Lake Ontario as the War of 1812 begins. Stayed tuned for more about Caroline as we count down to her debut…
First impression: Lanie, why are you wearing Felicity's summer dress and why is it pink? This is also impression 2-78. Because I want Lyssie's summer dress, I want this pink dress, too. Crap.
Reaction 79 came from Mums: "Hey, she looks like you when you were little." Only with far more hair and no freckles on her nose. (I was absurdly proud of those freckles.) But super light blond hair and pale eyes? Indeed.
But... classic mold. So even if I felt like going all ego maniac and wanting a doll!me (which isn't really my thing) she's my least favorite mold. And I don't trust doll hair in that shade of blond.
Reaction 101 was wanting Cass to get her so I could see her in person. This way I could play with her without having to shell out the money. Or... something, since I've realized I've bought half the dolls in Cass's current lineup.
Anyway. I want to see the rest of her stuff. I want her books. But... I don't think I want the doll. Which is just as well because dude, this Inn is closed. For now.
And now to find some food and sleep.

Date: 2012-08-02 07:59 pm (UTC)There's something wonky about her hair placement and you may be right about it being the face/hair combo, because the other dolls that have the same wig in different colors and the same face? Also ping the same "..." reaction.

Date: 2012-08-03 01:11 am (UTC)IDK, I guess the hair looks wonky on that head? Especially fake. I mean, I remember the 18" BSC Dawn doll who also had long blonde hair, and it looked much more "natural," for as natural as doll hair can look. This looks very my hed is pastede on yey!
