Today can just sit on it and rotate. I'm going to go have a piece of fudge, find a book I want to re-read for a bit, and then sleep for a few hours.

I don't want to hear about the party I was invited to. I don't want people nitpicking my word choices. I don't want to see things I cannot have any time soon. I don't want to see the long list of Stuff To Do.

Argh. Augh. And feh. Sleep should make things better. Then we'll try the 16th again.

Here's hoping the day, take 2 works out better. So far your distraction tactics seem to be helping, so fingers crossed!

Lisi's novels are an odd breed. I'm still not sure why they chose to go in the direction they ultimately did. MH in every other form is all about not hiding who you are, so why the book series takes the opposite view is a bit weird. As is the massive lack of continuity across the various forms. I understand some things change as you realize hey, this would be so much better than the original plan, but some of it is just... why?

It doesn't help that I'm not really a fan of Lisi Harrison's writing style 90% of the time. That said, book two is actually really good. My expectations for it were pretty much nil and she far exceeded that and hit it out of the park. I still need to find number four, don't I? Oh, there's a new book series that centers on Rochelle, Robecca, and Venus. I haven't read it yet, but it's supposed to be more of the webisode 'verse as opposed to the previous book series... and since you and Rochelle seem to have bonded... ;)

Yay for liking everyone! I think that's something the webisodes managed to do really well. I can't think of anyone I flat out hate. I don't necessarily love the way they chose to alter certain monster's characters throughout the three 'seasons' and various specials, but at the end of the day, I still like everybody thus far. Now we must ask who your favorites are!

Not sure why the webisodes are so short, but they've gradually been getting longer. They've done a few TV specials that are half an hour to an hour long. I know some of them can be found on MonsterHigh.com/youtube. Not sure about them all but here's a list. New Ghoul at School is the only one with the webisode style of animation but it's also filled with whiplash continuity. The others switch to the 3D/CGI style. They're still making the webisodes. I think we've been getting a new one every other week. A new one was released Thursday (Mauled) and we're supposed to get a new one right before the New Year. :) (Thursday afternoons usually.)

Sky High! I love it so, so much. I wish they'd made it longer. And made more. It's one of the few movies that I think is too short but that might just be because I adore it. :D

Well, you know Draculaura stole my heart the second I saw her. I do wish her doll was shorter than the other dolls though, because tall Draculaura is a little weird. :P

I also love Spectra and Rochelle (I actually haven't seen Rochelle in any episodes yet, but her Scaris doll is the cutest thing ever so I'm pretty sure I'm going to love her.) Abbey is campaigning hard for Draculaura's spot in my heart. She won't win, but it's a fun struggle. I need her Dead Tired doll. NEED. I also really like Venus because she has that environmental streak. And I love Nefera because sometimes you just need a good bitch character to look up to. Haha. But like I said, I don't dislike anyone!

I have to really try to limit the amount of dolls I want because I don't have a lot of space to store them. I don't need any Clawdeen dolls for example, fun as her character is (though I do love her Red Riding Hood costume - that's just adorable). I probably won't get any Ghoulia dolls either, or any of the boys. I'm getting Frankie from you (and I can't wait!), and I've got a few more on my Amazon wishlist. I think what I'd rather do is have one doll of each character and just try to get the different outfits rather than having three or four different Draculauras or Abbeys or whoever. That way I could get Little Red Riding Clawdeen and a few of her outfits and have the best of both worlds. :D

I know Lagoona and Ghoulia are your favorites since you've talked about them a lot. Do you have other favorites or are you like me where those two have your heart and everyone else you like just fine but for whatever reason aren't favorites?

Ooh, Rochelle finally pops up in webisode form in the episode that aired in the beginning of December. It's a good one, too. :D (She's also in the Ghouls Rule movie.)

Tall Draculaura is odd, especially since the specials really, really showcase how much shorter she is. I do wonder if they'll utilize Howleen's body for Draculaura sometime in the future since Howleen's obviously not a one-off.

I wish you luck in your MH plan. I'm thinking mine will eventually switch to less "alllllllll the preciousessssss" and more "all the Lagoonas!" but not quite yet.

Abbey is part of my MH trio of love. :D I didn't expect her to be since I wasn't all that sold on her doll, but she's awesome and was the first to list Lagoona as her BFF so really, how could I not love her? I also have a huge soft spot for Cleo (the Comic Con webisode where she gets Ghoulia her comic) which is complicated by the way she see-saws back and forth between made of awesome and "...oh. we're back to that, are we?" :p Which doesn't even begin to cover the doll side of things.

And I shouldn't, but I love book!Candace. Which is why I drafted Disney's Sharpay to be Candace in my little MH 'verse.
