Mar. 20th, 2013 11:28 am...dammit, Fergie. Your shoes have been tempting me for awhile now, but... I don't know whether they'd fit and even if they did, would I find you comfy?
Further reflection on this topic has taken the sandals out of the equation because my feet aren't up to the pretty standards the sandals would require. Naturally the flats most likely to fit are $99 before the discount... and I can't take my eyes off the pair of heels I would NEVER WEAR.
But they're so SHINY.
No, self. No. If this were Friday I'd be doomed but for now... for now I shall resist.
But dammit, this year I'm buying some new shoes that aren't work related.
I may also wind up buying a pair to just wear around the house, whenever, because dammit they're pretty.
But that will not be now, self. Now you should close things down, give Ozzie a kiss on her fluffy head, and go to bed.
I... am unsure how I feel about the finale. This is the first year I'm completely underwhelmed by the finale, but I also didn't watch any episodes until Monday so... no. I've actually done that before, skipped most of a half a season to binge right before the finale, so that's not it.
I think it's that either they choreographed what they were up to way too obviously or I've finally cracked their code.
Toby ~liiiiiiives~ and was only on the A Team to protect Spencer! Swoon! Spencer/Toby sex scene if that's your thing. Ezra and Aria break up for no real reason I understand beyond "high school senior doesn't want to play stepmother to newfound child." Mona (momentarily?) bonded with Hanna and the rest of the Liars. Shana (Shauna?) from the costume shop is evil. Ali is redcoat.
About the only thing that counts as shocking in that bundle was possibly Shana hooking up with Jenna. But Hanna didn't like her and she was making weird googly eyes at Spencer so... not really a surprise there.
The episode ends with Mona and the Liars looking in the trunk of Wilden's waterlogged cruiser and gasping at something we won't get to see until S4 starts up. You may begin guessing now. My money in on Cece or Jason being stuffed in the trunk.
On the flipside, there was one other thing that happened that was of interest. Jenna and Shana weren't apparently working with Mona and Toby (and Spencer) so... were they working against them? Dissention amongst the A team? Or are we back to A having two different heads? And why would Ali save them? Just to torture them some more or...? I'd imagine if she (and I won't dignify the whole "it's an Ali mask!" thing with a response beyond "bitch please, no." didn't want them torched and Jenna's side of the minions did, Ali would declare war.
I'm gonna need Melissa Hastings taken down a notch or fifteen in S4.
