and that's how you end an episode

Dammit, UPS. Normally you show up at 3pm, so where the hell is my stuff? I was looking forward to that book! (Okay, fine, you got me. I want my CD. Shush.)
So... Ozma and I watched last night's Psych.
To deal with my heart being ripped out, I wandered over to tumblr since I know there's a fairly easily found Psych fanbase there. And every other post in the Psych tag said something along the lines of "Psych! You're supposed to be a comedy, WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?" and then said they had Supernatural for this BS.
Which made me stop and shake my head. Have you people not been paying attention? Psych is a comedy like Scrubs is a comedy. You laugh 95% of the time and then come a finale (in Psych's case. Scrubs usually went for sweeps) it either gets really dark or it throws a monkeywrench in your plans. Seriously. Go on, look back at their finales. (A hint: Yang, Yin, and Henry getting shot.)
Seriously. This show is not afraid to take your heart and rip it right out of your chest. It just lulls you into a false sense of security.
And that's exactly what they did when Juliet manages to put entirely too much together from one receipt.
And to think, I thought my biggest problem with this episode was going to be having Carlton marry Marlowe. (I've been vaguely 'shipping Carlton/Jules since she got kidnapped and Shawn rescued Abigail, leaving Lassie to comfort Jules.)
Well played, show. Well played.
