Tomorrow we resume our tale of z. Until then I must go to sleep because I have to work tonight. Pray for me that the ho costumes either come out in full force or stay away and that the floors are actually being scrubbed so I can do as little as is humanly possible.

Before I go, I must ask: what makes the Halloween season for you? Songs, movies, books, experiences, whatever? Annnnnnd go!

I think it's the weather. It's finally getting colder and every morning for the past week it's been foggy/misty and just a bit eerie. I've pulled out my warmer clothes, switching out my knee high stockings for cute patterned socks because my feet were getting too cold (and I'm talking holiday patterned socks). And I've started wearing scarves instead of necklaces. For instance today I'm wearing a purple sweater with a green and purple scarf and orange socks with "Boo" printed all over them (with my standard black suit that's required for work). And my nails are painted like candy corns. :D

We don't get traditional seasons in San Diego, but some leaves are falling off of trees, and all the bugs have died (YESSSSS!) and it's as close as we get to fall here. I do have a couple of movies I like to watch around this time of year (Practical Magic, Hocus Pocus) plus the Halloween episodes of Buffy and Charmed, all of which put me in a good Halloweeny mood.
