Guess who's seeing Thor 2 tomorrow? You've been warned, my Avengers folder (which has Thor and Loki sub-folders, clearly) is ready and waiting to annoy the hell out of everyone but me. :D
I actually didn't like the first Thor movie. I think I may be the only woman on the planet who doesn't find Chris Hemsworth attractive. Big, blond, and muscle-y is not my type. I like tall, thin/average muscles, and brunette. I kinda dig Loki, except he's bad. But even aside from not liking how Thor looks I really don't like his attitude. He's so cocky and arrogant, which are two traits I just despise. Give me humble and funny any day. :D
Which is weird because I freaking love Iron Man, who is about as arrogant as they come. But then again I find Robert Downey Jr. hot so I'm more willing to forgive the attitude stuff. Heh.
I liked Thor (the movie) more for the whole family dynamics taking center stage with the superhero smash-stuff coming in second. I'm also not seeing Thor: 2 for Thor. Loki!
Ah, but Iron Man is also quippy and super smart whereas Thor is... well, um... *pats Thor on the head* very pretty to those who like 'em big and blond. I did like that the point of the first Thor was that he was an incredibly arrogant ass who didn't deserve the throne until he changed.
Not sure what 2 will bring but I'm hopeful for goodness.
The quippiness really does offset it for Iron Man. If one is too smart and arrogant, it's still not attractive. Throw in some funny though and the hotness kicks back in.

Yes to the quippy and super smartness of Iron Man. I think those traits really help balance the arrogance. :D
