impyLet's see. I'm on what, week three of being sick? I'm done with it, man. So done. Beyond done. I cannot begin to explain how done I am with being sick. This thing will not die, but still I cling to hope that I'll wake up tomorrow and be fabulous. Well, fabulous and not sick.
Just when I think things are getting better, I wake up with some new fantastic ailment to add to my collection. Friday my right eye started getting... weird. Goopy might be the word for it. Might not. Saturday it was just a mess. I spent all night at work thinking, "Oh shit, don't let this be pink eye" but all my google-fu said it had so very little in common with pink eye. It didn't itch, or hurt, nor was it sensitive to light. The only time crud would build up was during sleep, really, and mostly it just looked awful.
I finally got tired of worrying and asked Mums and she took one look and went, "Not pink eye. You're good. Your cold just took up residence in your eye." Greeeeeeeeeat.
Ugh.
Seriously gross and disgusting and somewhere the Lady dog is laughing at me. Only not, because Lady wouldn't laugh at you. She'd sympathize... and then try and con you outta snacks. I really hope she's still alive and is doing well. :/ I suspect the guilt is compounding my illness, honestly.
Moving along, I ordered Widget's bed a week ago and it arrived on Thursday. We opened it up yesterday (Sunday) and the support beams for the headboard/footboard had both snapped in half during transit. So I put in an order from the manufacturer for replacement parts (free of charge) and halted construction on the bed. We got the main part of his storage headboard assembled and the bed seems to be smaller than I expected. BUT he had said he didn't want a huge bed and now I just hope he doesn't go all growth-spurt on me anytime soon.
Updated the MH Wishlist again. I need to tweak some of the newer ones to get them in line with the others, size wise (dammit, Toralei, why'd you start a new trend?) but I think I've got everyone other than Bloodgood represented. This, of course, means new promo pictures (clear ones) will flood the fandom and I'll be woefully behind again.
I think, if I'm feeling at all better later today, I'll make an EAH list and add it to the MH entry.
