Mismas Tree

This is a test. Let's see....

Crappy Kindle pic is crappy, but you can still see my Golden Girls gift from luxken27! :D So excited, you have no idea. Also, if you look closely, you can see my gift from irishgypsie from last year. My penguin ornament is pretty much the perfect tree topper for this tree. :) Technically there's a bird atop my tree (from K at work) but I like to think the bird has just landed and is visiting while the penguin is the star.

Oh, and the gingerbead house and tree are from my AG CM order. Pretty cute for $5!

It's not perfectly decorated, but it's a nice little tree that makes me happy and I can add things as I'm struck by the mood to do so.

I'm not sure I will ever not find it funny that the tree I bought to be a super tacky thing because I wasn't really sure what to make of my first Christmas without Dad is arguably one of my better holiday purchases.

Yay, penguin! He looks perfect up there.

And yes, I think I've usually thought of the colored trees as bizarre, but this one just works and is awesome. :D

He really, really does. Also, up there he's safe from Ozma who thinks she should be able to cuddle him. With her claws. :p So thank you again!

Colored trees are an odd mix. Ari had a white one that was pretty (aside from the fact that all her ornaments were red so it looked like a Target advertisement) and I gave a coworker a mini purple one that was surprisingly pretty, but I've gotta say, I never expected this one to be so nifty. :D I'm glad I'm not totally delusional on this one.
