eee! I have the best friends
Dec. 16th, 2014 01:35 amOh. My. Gosh!
Yesterday, after returning home from a strange venture out Into The World that involved a stop at the eye glasses place in North Charleston where I got my glasses (this trip was for Mums and it was not the most pleasant experience ever) and the Target thataway, I was racing inside for the bathroom (dammit, Target!) when I damn near tripped... over a Target box.
From
irishgypsie! Inside was the Student Disembody Council Set! I don't think I can use enough exclamation points for this!
!!
!!!!!
See? Not enough! Anyway, the timing on this was perfect as I believe my gift for her arrived yesterday, too! And also I could really use a pick me up after the incident at the glasses place (let's quote you one price and then turn around and say no, it'll be $100 more and then have Mums sorta blow up at this, but not a full blow up but still enough that you're sitting there like, "Whoa. This is awkward. I would very much like to not be here right now, so I'm going to concentrate on this lizard on the other side of the window. Hello, lizard! How are you? Do you want to trade places?") followed by realizing I'm pretty friggin' broke currently (damn you, responsibilities and bills!) but shiny!
Pictures to be added when it's not 1:30am. I'm cold and very sleepy. But also feeling very happy and loved. :)
Thank you!

Date: 2014-12-17 03:32 pm (UTC)I'm hoping that I'll get a Christmas bonus and if I do, #61 is coming home to become my 80s girl. I still haven't settled on a name for her though.
In the meantime, Ruthie of all dolls was eyeing the frilly frock and giving me puppy dog eyes to try it on. I will most likely indulge her and post pics later. :)

Date: 2014-12-17 09:22 pm (UTC)Apparently our Ruthies were on a similar wavelength because mine finally piped up and claimed the blue holiday dress this year.
Yay for possible Christmas bonus! Maybe when she appears you'll just know her name?
