Grace's stuff finally appeared on the website, but it's not searchable for the most part. I might've pulled a sara and fiddled with the numbers until I found most of her stuff.

My shoulder is killing me so this is going to be an abbrieviated run, I think.

All right, let's look this over, shall we?

First of all, these are not flattering shots of Grace. :( BUT I have hope that she's going to look better in reality than she does in these shots (or most of them anyway) and in any case, she'll be coming home because this way I don't have to find Chrissa on ebay or something. Plus freckles!
The jury is still out on her eye color, but it sadly looks like regular blue. Which is a shame because she'd be stunning with Kit's blue and it's not like they use that all that often.
So, doll is a yay. I don't care about her charm bracelet and I may let Cass talk me out of it. I think the bow placement on her skirt is weird but really, I don't think most of the Meet outfits are all that fabulous for anyone. There are exceptions (Cecile and Nellie both spring to mind) but in general, it's a thing to keep them from being nekkid. :P

Her PJs are adorable and make her eyes look less ordinary blue so sold on that, too. Plus, I have a doll PJ problem so really, you knew that was likely... except I almost never buy the GOTY pajamas. Oh no, I have Grace fever!

Her Bakery Outfit (what I'm calling it, I dunno what it's actually called) is.. weird. The top has upside down cupcakes but she's got an apron and that's cute. I think if they bundle this in with her potential World collection, I might buy it, otherwise eh, it'll depend on the price.

Pink Fancy Dress:
Those shoes! That dress! The 80's-ness of it all! Want, yes please.

Love Outfit:
I might've stopped to truly appreciate this when I found the links. I think this is fabulous aside from the pink on the shoes. Seriously, this outfit is killing me. Love it. Pun only sorta intended.

Meet Accessories:
Huh. This I'm gonna need a price and tales of how those nummers are packaged. One giant sleeve of them or individual? A girl's gotta know these things.

Her dog:
Adorable.

Travel Set:
Enh. I think it's cute as heck, I do think that pink is a bit jarring with the blue but it's not a combo Mattel doesn't love to pieces. I just don't really have a need for a doll suitcase, y'know? I like the other bits.

Baking Set:
Uhhh, want. But I'm afraid of the price, truly.

La Patisserie Table Set:
See above on the color scheme and also no thank you.

Bakery:
I haven't got anywhere to store it and if it really is $500, I hope it bombs. (Some of the food things though, oooh. Gorgeous.)

Bakery Cart:
I'm pretty sure these are like Monster High's Scaris things scaled up. :P Again, I like the food, but I don't want to spend the money I'm sure they'll be asking.

Purse Set:
Yes, please. Look, they're putting her name on shit, too.

Coat Set:
I loooooooooove this.

So, to sum everything up:

I fear the prices, truthfully, but since I want so very much, my getting of Grace may be delayed depending on her bundling practices.

I do love the PJs and the fancy pink dress. I'm just not sure that pink would look good on my soon to be 80s doll (Megan) because she has red hair, and pink just doesn't look good on redheads.

I already own a cute coat and beret that I got at Target (Cecile is wearing them currently and holy crap is it cute) so I can pass on this set.

Aww, I've seen some pinks work on redheads, though it is definitely a question of personal taste. That said, the 80'sness of that dress made me think of a couple of people (you were one!) and I want it for that alone.

Cecile looks like she's about to run outside for some adventures and is taking Josefina with her! So cute. :D

And I was thinking Josefina had flowers in her hair, but this way you get the look of it without having to actually do it. Very pretty. :)

First off yay! You got gratitude and acknowledgment! I was worried with your invisibility powers, people would just overlook you and take you for granted! So thumbs up on that one!

Grace: Love! I love the bangs since they're so different from any of the other dolls, I'm glad that the GOTY is super unique. She's got the ADHD blue eyes/brown hair combo so fun personality right there, I don't think I hate the freckles, but I'm curious to see how they'll look on the real doll. Pierced ears as we discussed YES...thanks for the underwear confirmation? Charm bracelet is actually kind of meh except for the dog charm. Not sure I like the cooch-bow (I just ruined it all, didn't I?), but I'm guessing that's just a style of the time. I think I just don't like the way the shirt rests on it in the photo. Boots are cuuute! I have a similar pair in raspberry! So glad it's not just the typical pleather flats or if you're lucky, flats with straps or bow.

PJs: Kind of boring to me even though I like that color and the eiffel tower stuff. I think the PJs are just all looking the same at this point and just swap the color/theme. Plus the pattern is kind of piled up on itself and the light/same color of it all makes it really hard to read. And I guess all girls wear tank tops to bed now? Aren't nightgowns still a thing? Or winter?

Bakery outfit?: I want to like this more than I do. The color combination is interesting, but I think it reads a little juvenile to me. Like more BT-age. I think if they had just made the jumper straight black, I'd like it a billion times more. You've got the heart, the dots, the cupcakes, the lines and it suffers like the School Stripes outfit(?) in that just throwing a bunch of different patterns at it makes it look childish. The only pieces I'd want to use is the cupcake top and the shoes.

Fancy Dress: Eh, too cotton candy pink for me. Not really my bag and seems a little too safe and reminiscent of Isabelle's collection. I really dig the shoes though!

Love: Just gotta reiterate, love the Love outfit! Never woulda thought sparkly hot pants and home-grown sweater would be an ensemble, but she pulls it off!

Accessories: Flowers and beret I could do without, but the postcards, candy and...whatever the eiffel tower thing is, are cute! $30 will be way overpriced if they stick to that tag though. Oh god, just saw the hat on the doll. Major nope on that piece! Oh cookie? It's a cookie, right?

Aw, I think the dog is cute! And I don't even care for that breed!

Travel Coat and Suitcase: So glad we're seeing some new colors up in here! Not sure what that line is on the coat (jacket? Just a weird style choice?), but I dig that it's stylish, but still age-appropriate. Really wish it didn't have the bow on it, though. Are bows in or is that just what they're peppering her collection with like Izzy's sequins? I don't think they're a French thing, are they? Even so, I'd like at least one outfit without a bow! Suitcase is cute. I didn't care much until I saw it open with all the accessories and the lining and then it turned into, yup, want! Dem tickets even look so real! Though I keep thinking the luggage tag is an electric guitar. :p

Baking Set: Hm, alright, I hate to agree, but I see the plastic-y OG-lookingness here. The mixer itself looks good, but the plastic bowl just detracts from it. Why can't it be silver like on the mixer? It doesn't even have to be real metal just the paint. Same with the sifter and...crudel...scrunching...thing and beater. I would've been more on board with the measuring cups too since I usually like those (or spoons would've been good too) but they're so plain. Guess it was finally time for an AG tablet! Odd that it's with a baking set, but oh well, it would get it's use plenty elsewhere! Pricing will make all the difference on this set for me, so I'm guessing it will be super high. :P

Cafe Table/Setting? Once again, why so lonely AG designers? Or at least cut the price down if that's how you insist on cutting costs for yourself? Ha and as soon as I saw it too I was all "Hey, isn't that the set from the MH Paris stuff?" I like croissants and the napkin holder, but judging how they price the rest of their tables and chairs, I'm guessing this won't be coming home with me unless you can buy the setting/food separately. Mmm...brie...

Bakery: Not even considering this, but it is a cool piece. Even at the $175-200 I would be nope, but if it's at the rumored 500? Hells to the no! Plus the food on this looks extra fake and cheap toy even though it's probably going to be super high-end. Weird.

Cart: Cute, but wtf am I going to do with it?? Tarts look tasty, but I think I have some erasers that look just like that and the rest of it is not really unique. Oh wait, the boxes and packaging is cute. I do like this idea of magnetic menus to play with. Would've been my bag as a kid.

MOAR Accessories: See guys, that's why she has a brighter face, she bought herself some lip gloss! So quit yer hating! Like this set a LOT more than the first one. These gloves are a lot more versatile than Izzy's and I don't even mind the bows on them (though I probably would have if they'd been a different color. But this! Subtle! I like!). Sparkle...coin purse? Is super cute. Not a big fan of polka dots, but then I hardly ever mess with doll purses anyways, but it is one of the cuter ones I've seen.

This sounds more negative than it is! I really like much of it and even if I don't get the clothes, I won't mind seeing other people's pics of them. I definitely want Grace, the Coat Outfit, Love Outfit, dog and second accessories set. And food items if they sell those separately. Price dependent are the suitcase and baking set.

Your comments: Yeah, with the unique haircut and other GotY's getting special eye colors, I was disappointed that Isabelle's aren't unique and neither are Grace's. Or at least re-use a more interesting color like Caroline's. I sooo want that eye color, but I don't want her classic moldiness! (pun intended) Don't have Kit, so I'll take your word on hers being different, too.

Oh shit! That thing's supposed to be an apron?? Wuuuuuuuuuut I don't know if that makes it better or worse.

So yeah, it's a "Must keep in mind you just bought two Isabelle's and can live through Impy's pics until the first sale or shipping code...maybe...hopefully..."

Have you heard the rumor that her earrings are a different size than the regular earrings so that's another Grace exclusive?

The cupcake outfit is so weird. I kinda love the back of the apron and I don't know why. The more I look at it, the more cracked out it seems, although you're right about the Bitty feel to it. That apron though...

The baking set is apparently going to be $65 (which you probably already read) and I can't figure out if that prices it out of my want range or not.

I wonder how hard they'll be cracking down on replacement parts for Grace's collection. Because you know people are going to be trying that almost immediately.

Hee, my holiday gloves are some weird love-child between Grace's and Izzy's. Odd that AG went subtle but I'm glad they did!

Kit, Nellie, and one of the blonde MyAGs (27? I think that's the one) all have darker blue eyes that are gorgeous. It kills me that AG hasn't used them again and this would have been the perfect time. *ponders Grace with Caroline's eyes* That would've been striking!

With the price list being leaked, I did the math and it ain't pretty even without the baking set. So, here's hoping AG makes the starter collection filled with goodies. Might take me a little longer to get her BUT if it'll save me money in the long run...
