God, the trouble with not being known for being terribly chatty at any given point in time is that when you do feel the need to natter on incessantly, it's always when NO ONE IS AROUND.

I've been keeping an eye on the Scentsy world because, as is tradition, around this time of year they have their big convention-y thing and the fall/winter catalogs start to appear a little early, as do the Halloween (and Christmas) goodies and you know I love Halloween.

Thus far I've managed to find these:

I don't like hairy stuffed animals as a general rule since they tend to look balding at best. Cute-adjacent, however.

It took me a minute to realize the wrap was a raven. To be fair, not the best shot ever. But still!

Oh, Halloween, why must you be so grand? I've been eyeballin' Pier 1's Halloween stuff too because I clearly have issues.



While this isn't a great shot of it, I think I'm going to want the reindeer warmer, price depending. Possibly ditto to the little penguin nightlight.


Countdown snowman is cute, and I'd like the Buddy more if the ear muffs weren't so huge. Combined they look bigger than his head.



Now. Could someone tell me a story or chitter-chatter back? I'm dreadfully bored and kind of confined to the house today soooooo...

Sorry, I've been bad about the chatter! I do it in my head, but then the heat and work get the better of me and it doesn't make it to paper so to speak. -_- Oh man, the new Scentsy stuff. Really tempting me to go back even though I have so much stuff already. I didn't even see that Halloween stuff! The clip-on buddies look so cute, too! And the essential oils are intriguing.

Saw, basic Evie and Mal at Walmart. Hair looks much better in person, but the eye placement is really weird and I was unsettled by how far away they're looking, but the clothes are really sweet. Weird that it was just two each of those two.

I completely understand about the chatter in the head and then it not ever making it elsewhere, except maybe the pets. (Or is that just me?) I'm torn on what to doooooooo Scentsy wise. August is sale month, huzzah! And I pretty much promised to get the boy some bars for his new place. But September (I think?) brings all these shiny things and they want my money. But I think I heard Scentsy is changing the hostess rewards and the minimum for a qualifying party in September, too.

And I died when I found out the price for their new diffuser. I couldn't decide whether to be horrified or amazed, and I have no idea whether it's even a decent going rate for it. Ditto the oils since that's not my expertise and my only real memories of them are the things at Earth Fare or downtown and neither is known for reasonable pricing. :p

I got my Mal Tuesday and I'm pretty happy with her aside from the clothes limiting the movement of her arms. But Evie continues to just hang out with Amazon, mocking me. I'd talked myself out of buying any of the other two until she and Carlos finally arrive but patience isn't my thing.

Haha, no the cats hear their fare share of goings on.

I knooow. I like that edison burner, too, but it sucks not being able to smell the new stuff before buying so I'm always tempted to buy like a ton of bards, when I already have a bunch here. Yeah, I guess new party minimum is $200, but according to Scentsy, since they're making everything more expensive anyways, no problem, right?? So that's lame. Oooh, was that the actual price? I think I wrote it off as a bad dream. Like $150?? I was hoping that was just the sell kit price or something and it was going to be it's own line! Yikes!! Yeah, nerts to that!

Just the way they're look so far up and to the side. Like I understand off-center sometimes, but these were looking for the mothership fixing to land. Probably just my issue though! And I'll still grab a few when they go on sale at some point. Still catching up on EAH and MH since they're going on sale or I probably would have splurged. Oh and that freaking ComicCon Sailor Moon figuarts. Didn't realize the person I asked would be marking it up twice as much and then not even shipping for two weeks or I would have just passed or gotten it cheaper on Ebay. Regretting not getting the CC MH pack too I think. -_-

Argh and then last day for AG sale and I've still got that July coupon, but REALLY don't need to be putting another hundred on the credit card. Bad dolls!!

I'm awful at picking out scents based on their descriptions. Whenever Cass has me pick testers to try, the ones that sound amazing always end in death. I must convince her to snag the new ones for one last season's hurrah. Or else I'll wind up with even more stuff no one likes. Like my accidental purchase of a brick of cedar cider. D'oh!

*snorts* Ahh, I gotcha on the eyes. I'll keep an eye out if I ever see them in the wild!

I feel your pain on the CC stuff. I caved and bought one exclusive and while they shipped quickly, it was clearly kicked across the country. And I immediately found it ten bucks cheaper. I have to tell myself that Whisp's tail is less genie and more snake so I don't need her.

I'm torn on the AG stuff too! I want to place an order to use my coupon but if I do then there's gonna be a better sale tomorrow. If I wait? Nope.And they stopped sending me catalogs after I sent back their little card that said send me more. Boo.

Yup, you never know what you're actually going to get going from description to smell. It's a harrowing journey apparently. Haha, I'll make note to steer clear of that one in the future then!

Yeah, she looked more naga than wisp-y. Plus it had been so long since I'd seen the movies with either of them, I couldn't remember if I liked them or not. So I take it you're getting boy Vampire?

Yup, I really like the LE summer outfits and Julie's Maxi dress, Still need sam's bike outfit too, but I think we established they can't give that thing away so yeah, still worried we'll just get 'em cheaper. Of course, all that clearance stuff lingers on without markdowns for months on end...but they'll be needing room for ME here pretty quick, right??

On Cedar Cider, if you like cedar it's fine but I meant to order something else (cider mill probably) and I don't like cedar enough to need a brick. Sigh.

I loved Whisp in the movie and the diary redeemed Valentine(sweet flip,the embroidery on his jacket!) But nope, I bought one of the Funko Orphan Black figures. Now she wants her clone sisters. Sigh

I'm thinking of waiting til tomorrow and if there's no sale I'll play backorder roulette with Becca's swimsuit and something. Julie's maxi dress temporarily sold out and all the freaking out was glorious.

One month til ME! And one day.

Oh and I forgot to comment on the $130(?) for just the diffuser. No scents or anything. I wonder how it's gonna sell. It's insane. I still think tiger's eye is beyond pushing it at what, $55?

Well, maybe you could help me with one of my stories, LOL!! I am thinking of writing an awkward Cara-drops-by-the-Wakefields-ostensibly-to-use-their-new-pool-but-really-to-drool-over-Steven SVS fic, but I can't really figure out how I want Steve to react to Cara's drooling, nor a real way to have them interact in any sort of way.

My other fic idea for the SMC is a Lila-Bruce breakup fic but I don't wanna post that one next in the series because that would be a bit of a letdown, no? :-/ Hmm...

*dons hat* We'll go in reverse order. How are you having the two prettiest people at SVH breakup? Or is this a wait and see thing?


Cara wise. Hrmm. Is Jessica there for this drop-in? If she is, is she feeling match-makery or is she bothered by yet another friend falling for her brother?

What about Liz? Or the parents? I could see Alice needing help with some project and if Cara's just dropped by to Steven watch, Jess might not be home but is invited in to wait only to get roped into something that requires two extra sets of hands (and Steven happens to be the other set).

I can see Steve being nice but not flirty. I can also see him being completely oblivious to the flirting or just deciding to ignore it because it's easier.

Any help? I could ask you a million more questions if you want.
