I guess it depends on what sort of plot bunny you're thinking about? They meet in #80, and then there are big subplots in #82 & #85, and then of course A Night to Remember and Jessica's Sekrit Diary III.
I figure Sam/Jessica needs more fluffiness to offset the inevitable sadness, but it's been so long since I read anything that wasn't related to the prom from hell that I'm not fully remembering much about their dynamic beyond that.
