Title: Lightly
Characters: Jessica Wakefield, Sam Woodruff, Elizabeth Wakefield
Word Count: 196
Summary: Fluff.
----
She'd deny it if word somehow ever got out, but Jessica Wakefield's favorite date with Sam Woodruff, so far, wasn't a night out at the Beach Disco, or a walk along the beach, or even a few hours stolen up at Miller's Point after one of Lila Fowler's amazing parties.
No, her favorite date involved curling up next to him on the couch, watching some movie she couldn't believe he'd never seen before (but for the life of her she couldn't remember it now), and every so often turning her head to catch him watching the movie. He was so engrossed in the film that she didn't even mind when Elizabeth had plopped down on the floor near Jessica and watched the end with them. Every so often, Sam would take her hand and kiss it lightly, just because he could.
With Liz leaning up against her legs and Sam at her side, Jessica felt safe and happy. She'd never imagined when she first started dating Sam that safe would be something she, the adventure loving twin, would long for, but there she was.
No, it wasn't the most exciting night of her life but it was one of the happiest.
----
Note: Originally this was going to be longer (but just as fluffy) but I have a terrible headache that I'm 97% sure is caused less by losing count of the number of margaritas I had last night and more because I have a sinus headache and I didn't sleep well on the couch... so it's all fluff. FLUFF. And also based on one of my happier memories.
