Since we did the new MH trio, I figure it's only fair to take a closer look at the new EAH trio popping in and out of stock on Amazon.


Farrah Goodfairy



I like Farrah's stuff, but she's an odd shade of pink and I don't like it combined with her face mold. I could probably overlook it all if I didn't dislike the pink so much. (It looks better here but I suspect quite strongly it's been brightened.) There's a reason she's been in stock for hours now...

Justine Dancer:



Meanwhile, Justine hasn't been available any of the times I've tried. Dammit, she just restocked but I can't afford $40 in dolls right now...
I think she's pretty but I wish they would have gone actual gold plastic and not the yellow-gold plastic route. The yellowy stuff clashes even more with the silver than regular gold would have. I suspect that someone else will help themselves to Justine's clashy metals. (I want Justine and likely enough to pay full price.)

Melody Piper:



*grabby hands* I've wanted a Melody doll since she first appeared. I'll admit that I don't mind the eye shift to blue from brown because it makes her that much closer to Delancey in EAH but I wouldn't have minded if they kept her eyes brown either. Nor will I be too upset if she appeared with brown eyes (not that I suspect she will). And yes, I did buy her this morning. *cough*


There was no way I could say no. I tried.


Also, I need more pictures of giant Maddie because the one person who has her on tumblr (that I've found) has one that looks particularly dead in the eyes. Which is a weird thing to say about a doll, but my doll people get it.

Haha, nope, we get it. That's why I haven't bought Alistair, Bunny or...oh, blue fairy girl? They all just looked dead-eyed in that wave. Unfortunate.

I like that Farrah has squinchy eyes. Gives her a different look from the rest of the crew which unfortunately to me don't often look different enough in the faces. I like all that blue hair, too. And Justine just kind of bored me. :( I think the doll itself is really pretty, but the rest of her deal was just kind of blah to me. And now that you've mentioned it, cannot unsee all that clashing jewelry, either. Especially all laid out like that. I'm behind on the shows and books, is there a reason for all the corset armor on everybody? I understood Darling, but it seems weird on her.

And Melody is beautiful! I was tempted last night, but with the recent doll-splurging and price drops, I figure I'll wait for a sale or in-person choosing. But if you want to sway me with reviews or pics when she comes in, feel free! ;)

Farrah in the wild! I'm waiting for more of her to appear before I completely write her off. I do like her squinchy eyes and her hair is actually the one thing that, at this point, is tempting me towards the doll.

I'm sorry for pointing out the clashing jewelry, but I'm sure Rosabella could swipe the gold or Darling could snag the silver. No reasons given for all the corset armor, so chalk yet another one up for laziness.

Is blue fairy girl Faybelle? I finally came around to her when I saw a cute one in person and then I got really luck on the Amazon sale. Her hair is so soft! So maybe they tweaked the eyes or I just accepted that she was going to steal my soul. Either is possible. Unless it was an entirely different character and then I got nothin'.
