impyDammit, money. I mean... I wanted the new Spring collection but couldn't justify the price and then they're pretty much giving away nail polish and do you know what that means?
It means I caved. I mean, I gave it overnight to sell out and it didn't, so I snagged three sets for the price of one and called it good. I fear, however, that this is a gateway drug because looking at that list of polishes is just setting me up for trouble. On the plus side, I've generally heard only good things about Zoya so I'm excited, even though I'm fairly certain I'll be giving away at least two of the polishes from my sets. But that's okay, since I kind of picked the trios I did based on whether I'd like the colors or if someone I know would. It's much better than when you get them and realize you've made a horrible, horrible mistake.
Speaking of sales, AG has Maryellen bundles up for grabs. Personally, I'm good since I really don't need Maryellen, but they also have Josefina's holiday dress on sale and some other stuff.
Work wasn't bad. My back was fine until...2ish? And then it just all went to hell for a bit, then it evened out, and then it got weird again towards the end. I got lucky in that the truck didn't show up til 4am and there were three of us, so someone else was drafted into helping bring it in. Getting into the car, however, nearly killed me.
I'm hungry but I'm not thrilled with the idea of getting up to forage for food...

Date: 2016-04-10 11:39 am (UTC)I figure Daisy will be going to a friend who loves yellow polishes and Tulip will likely make it to Mums. Not sure on Zahara. Everyone else, however, is calling my name. Loudly.
Huh. I'm not sure I have an opinion on polish types for the most part. I dislike bar glitter for the most part (it's okay when mixed with other things) and I can't really deal too well with textured polish that doesn't even out with a top coat since I don't like my nails to snag on things, but otherwise I haven't given it much thought. *muse*
Have you gone down the Zoya route? Thoughts? Opinions? Things I should know?
