GOTY 2017 is Gabriela McBride. An African American Girl who is a tap dancer. She is the exact same as truly me #46 which was discontinued this summer. Her pet is a cat. Tenney Grant will be a Truly Me character

per the lady on Facebook who is rarely ever wrong. Discuss amongst yourselves.

Fucking finally. Although it looks like another Sonali mold, so I'll pass. Why couldn't they use #58? She's sooooooooo cute! Or the old #11. I almost bought her a few times.

Now can we get an Asian historical in the main role, please? PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE?

11 is super cute in person. Cass has one and spoils her rotten.

If memory serves, various AG types (I can't recall if it's people like the lady who shared this info or employees or what) have said that the Sonali mold wildly outsells the Addy mold. 58 is super stinkin' cute and I'm really surprised they didn't keep her look for a character doll like the GOTY.

Blah, that's really disappointing that the mold not designed for a black character outsells the one that was designed for a black character. That's...pretty bad actually. I vastly prefer Addy's mold. Her nose is so much cuter. Sonali's always looked kinda squashed to me compared to the nice roundness in Addy's. And Sonali has those big round staring eyes. So apparently I like roundness in noses, but not eyes so much.

I should save up and buy a #58 and Addy, although my next bigger doll purchase is probably going to be Saila from Maplelea, since she finally came on Amazon Prime.

Oooh, that's a gorgeous doll. Apparently she's fairly difficult to find now that she's been retired, which is a shame.

I'm a sucker for the Sonali mold, but I like having both. I'm not a fan of AG moving away from the Addy mold and concentrating so much on the Sonali mold. Both, AG. Both!

Oooh. I look forward to pictures when you get Saila. She's one I've always been curious about.
