Hunh. I'm not a Kid Rock fan, and Sheryl Crow annoys me with half her songs, yet this song is undeniably catchy, despite its overly country twanging. Weird.
Anyway. No Buffy for me tonight because we had basketball... *voice drips with venom* So I get to wait til Saturday. So instead I tried to watch JAG, but that was wrecked by someone who called to tell me that her life has further turned into a Lifetime movie. Her crazy ex has a gun [which I might have mentioned] but now he's threatening her. And unlike say... me, or any other sane person, she called everyone else known to man but the cops. It's called a death threat, and when he's a few bananas short of a bunch already, you don't take chances. But what do I know?
Now to make sure I fly under the radar as he knows where I live, even if he's not allowed on zee property. *shudders* Not a gun fan. Of course, when you're 8 and hear your crazy uncle [everyone has one!] threaten to kill everyone with a gun, you begin to think that loons don't need weapons. I'm funny that way. *smiles angelically*
Finished Good In Bed which Jake suggested. Good book. Great book, actually. Even if I did have flashbacks to friends and annoyuances who would kill to be thin. Or would kill all their braincells and trade them in to be thin. Funny how it's better to be stupid than fat. Never will understand that, but society's fucked up, so I guess that explains a great deal. But back to the book. I laughed, I cried, and then I laughed some more. Kept me up most of the night reading it. -_- Good book! I need more! *cries*
