Update of sorts
Aug. 28th, 2008 11:18 amOkay, when I finally made it home from work, the cat was drooling excessively. She'd shake her head and shower everything. Very gross. So Mumsy calls the vet and asks when they can see us/if we should be running around like chickens without their heads. That sort of thing. Two minutes after the appointment is made, the cat stops her drool-fest. We take her to the vet and she sings and slinks around, as the cat hates car rides and the vet. As in the office, nothing personal against the vet we saw today. They can't figure out anything, so they think maybe she licked a lizard or tasted something bitter and this is just the normal feline way of saying, "disgusting!"
Then they began their parade of "now that we finally have you here, please let us part you from your money" options. Do you want to get your cat's blood work done just in case? Do you want to switch flea meds? Do you want to bang your head into a wall?
So... I did. I got the blood work [results in the morning, so continued warm fuzzies would be appreciated] and picked up one application of Revolution, which I'll give her Saturday. Anyone know anything about it?
Of course, the second I start to email Dad about the sucking wound that is my bank account/vet visit, she starts to drool again. I... don't know what the hell. I'm hoping she just got a taste of whatever they put on the back of her neck and that she's fine... but I worry.
On the plus side, she's up to date on all of her vaccinations and whatnot, so that makes me very happy. I'd been feeling very bad that she'd fallen behind.
